I am a Rancher's daughter.
I learned at a very young age the value of raising and producing fresh local food and to respect the land, the livestock, and crops in our care. As an adult I transplanted from Nebraska to Florence, Colorado and carry the same values and beliefs instilled in me as a child.
My Great-Grandfather, Harry Sutton, homesteaded a ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills and I also grew up on the same ranch. As a child I remember eating honeycomb as a treat. I didn’t know that honey was sold in the grocery store in bottles and thought the only way to get a honey treat was to go to the hive and harvest it. Even though I am now a “city kid” in rural Colorado, I am also a beekeeper and harvest honey straight from the hive. So if you want a real honey treat, straight from the hive and not from a grocery store, you came to the right place!
